Fassa Valley offers wonderful walking tours for the tourists who love calm and peace in the middle of a snowly landscape. Everyone can enjoy these strolls, you don't need any special tool. A good windcheater and heavy boots are more than enough.

One of the best tours is Duron Valley: you can reach it from Campitello in around 1.30 hours; the Refuge Micheluzzi is closed since many years during the winter, but I assure you the calm that you'll find over there will reapy you for the effort. The path is very large and the snow conditions permit you to walk without problems (except in case of heavy snowfalls).

Another wonderful tour is Monzoni Valley until the Refuge Monzoni, whose restaurant is open both in summer and in winter and will offers you the bast of ladin gastronomy. This track is not difficult too.

Other tours are in the area of Costalunga Pass and Carezza Lake, through  the wonderful forest at the feet of Latemar and Catinaccio.

From S. Pellegrino Pass you can reach also in around an hour the Refuge Fuciade; the wonderful Valley where the refuge lies, at the feet of Cima Uoma, can really create a magic atmosphere.
