DEMETZ REFUGE  VICENZA REFUGE  COMICI REFUGE

On the Sella Pass, take the Sassolungo's yellow cableway that, going up a narrow and steep slope, lead you to the Refuge Demetz  (2681 meters), in the forcella Sassolungo. Here you can also arrive without the cableway, going up the steep path n°525, starting at Sella Pass. Behind the Refuge, take the path n°526 that goes down across avery steep and quite difficult for the beginners guly, with a lot of high steps. Then you arrive at Refuge Vicenza  (2252 meters), and the landscape on Gardena Valley is wonderful. Then turn left and take the high path that goes around the Grohman Peak and that in two hours or something less lead you to the Refuge Comici  (2140 meters), on the other side of the mountain. Always following the path n° 526/528, you come back to Passo sella, crossing the "Stone City", born maybe a lot years ago because of a big landslide. In this last stretch you have to pay attention to the signals.
