SKIAREA CANAZEI-BELVEDERE |
|

01 - Gonzaga VERY EASY
It's a very small ski slope served by a skilift. In the first part is almost totally flat, while in the final stretch you'll find a brief but steep slant: if you take it too sharply, can be rather demanding. The end of the slope is by the Gonzaga Hotel, on the street to Pordoi Pass.
02 - Lupo Bianco
MEDIUM
START: 2155m END: 2479m LENGTH: 4361m MEDIUM SLOPE: 16%
It's a ski slope that from Belvedere leads almost completely through the wood to Lupo Bianco Refuge on the street to Pordoi and Sella Pass. These slope is rather narrow but also people that cannot ski very well are able to traverse it. Unfortunately due to the high numer of skiers the snow of this track is often in bad conditions, with a lot of humps and bumps. If you go along it around 9 a.m. you can enjoy a wonderful skiing. 03 - Sass Becé
MEDIUM/DIFFICULT
START: 2422m END: 2149m LENGTH: 1200m MEDIUM SLOPE :23%
This slope, served by a modern six places chair lift, begins on the hill of the Refuge Sass Becé. The first part is rather difficult: the slope is heavy and the ground is often disarranged (some natural humps); and it's neither very large. At the end of this stretch you have to cope with another high slope but the track becomes larger and the skiing easier. The last part doesn't present particular caracteristics, only some flat stretches and little slopes.
04 - Col dei Rossi
MEDIUM
START: 2375m END:1929m LENGTH:1600m MEDIUM SLOPE :28%
It's one of the best ski slopes of the Valley. It begins by the arrival station of the cableway Belvedere, and the first part can be gone through in two ways: the easiest consists in going down untill the Refuge Belvedere and then turning left coping with a rather easy slope; for the bravest I suggest turning left just at the beginning of the track, a few meters after the cableway station: that stretch is very exciting! The two ways join together just after having crossed the hollow. Staying always on the left you'll reach after a little slope the Chalet El Brodol. Now a last medium slope stretch leads to Pecol, from where you can mount again to Belvedere through the cableway or the chair lift Toè.
05 -
Belvedere EASY
START: 2150m END:2050m MEDIUM SLOPE:10%
It's an easy track not particulary exciting, served by a very slow four places chair lift that leaves near the Sass Becé one. The ski slope is rather regular, with flat stretches and little and simple slopes. If you don't pay attention to the signs you'll risk to loose the right direction.
