The sledge is considered by someone as a minor sport, maybe a little bit anomalous, but surely not less exciting and fascinating than others. In Fassa Valley you can find two professional runs, one in the highest part of Vigo, next to S. Giuliana Church, and the other on Costalunga Pass, in the municipality of Nova Levante, next to skiarea Paolina. These tracks are adressed to expert athletes.

For the ones that want to come back to their childhood, I suggest trying the slope from Micheluzzi Refuge in Duron Valley to Campitello with the sledge (if possible an old wood-sledge). You'll go along the path of Duron Valley in only five minutes, that is impossible in summer! But you must have a little bit of patience and spirit of sacrifice: you have to clim up by foot till the refuge, dragging the sledge... Trust in me, it is worth trying!!
